Chemicals used are typically stored in pressurized cylinders, ton cylinders or dewars as a liquid gas, in tanks or drums as a liquid, or in powdered form in drums. In addition, problems caused by excessive or interrupted gas flow during the production process can be extremely costly. Other water conditioning chemicals are supplied as dry powders and require accurate feed rates to achieve proper dosing.
