Scaletron has introduced a spill alarm for use with their full line of spill containment scales. Ideal for industrial and chemical process applications, the Scaletron spill alarm is housed inside an integrated collection basin where leaks and spills are first detectable. The relay may be used to trigger a light or an audible alarm.
Scaletron has announced the addition of the Model 2305™ Digital Single Cylinder Eco-Scale designed to provide a lower cost and more versatile solution for weighing chemicals used in water and wastewater treatment applications. The Model 2305™ can weigh cylinders up to 10.5 inches in diameter and 150 pound capacity.

These new Scaletron scales weigh only the chemical dispensed into the water treatment system. If there is a chemical spill the weight is still on the scale and doesn't read as though it has been dispensed into the system.
