Automatic Metering Screw Feed System for Mixing and Dispensing Dry Powders into a Secondary Process
The Model VMF-28 SL Volumetric Screw Feeder with Silo Connection has been designed to be an “all in one” option for adding an in-line dry chemical addition process fed by silos. The VMF-28 BL is capable of accurately dispensing many common chemicals found in the water and waste water industries, as well as, a host of other industrial chemicals directly into a supply line. The VMF-28 SL is the perfect choice when you need to control the addition of medium to larger doses of dry chemicals to a process. To meet customer demands Scaletron has combined a rugged screw feeder, programmable control module, a number of standard upgrades, and a flexible iris or slide gate valve silo connector and then mounted it all to a rugged base. If you are looking to do a “one and done install” for a dry chemical feeding system, then Scaletron is sure the VMF-28 SL will meet and exceed your chemical feeding needs.
