Automatic Metering Screw Feed System for Mixing and Dispensing Dry Powders into a Secondary Process
Designed as a direct replacement for Wallace & Tiernan 32-055 volumetric feeders, the new Scaletron VMF-90WT Volumetric Screw Feeder is a fully-featured, automatic feeding system capable of accurately dispensing many common chemicals found in the water and waste water industries, as well as, a host of other industrial chemicals. The VMF-90WT is the perfect choice for for seamless integration with an existing system using a Wallace & Tiernan feeder. The complete system is comprised of a screw feeder, hopper with W&T adaptor, SCR motor control module, wetting cone with eductor or solution mixing tank with mixer and a base stand.
Standard Features
- Rugged, corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel frame
- Built-in 1.5 cu. ft. gravity fed hopper in 304 stainless steel with maintenance access hatch and integrated load cell attachment point
- 0.50″, 0.75″, 1.0″, 1.5″, 2.5″ or 3.75″ Diameter solid auger in 304 stainless steel with “bayonet” style connection
- Standard concentric material conditioning overwind auger
- Water and dust proof NEMA 4X, variable speed motor controller capable of remote installation
- 90 VDC right-angle geared, wash down motor
- High volume wetting cone and eductor or a 35, 50, or 75 gallon solution mixing tank with mixer motor and propeller.
- Feeder stand with corrosion resistant dry powder epoxy coating
